About - Tea & Types

White tea, Green tea, Oolong tea, Black tea and Pu-erh tea are the five main tea types and are all from the same plant species- the Camellia sinesis.

The treatment of harvested tea leaves then determine the final product greeting consumers. Making tea leaves is a long and laborious process, but because of the many ways of creation, tens of thousands of tea varieties are available for drinking!!!

At Bubblish, we offer a wide range of premium grade tea in our bubble tea.

Our tea leaves are carefully curated from different tea estates in the world.

Green tea

Harvested tea leaves are dried in sunlight, then heated to promote drying. During which, the leaves are rolled into shape.

Oxidation stopped early in the process, leaving the green and keeping high levels of catechins!

Oolong tea

An in-between of green and black tea as leaves are partially oxidized. The level of oxidation then explains the wide variation of flavor and color profile of the specific Oolong varietal.

Black tea

Everyone knows black tea. Despite its name, black tea brews brown, intensity depending on the tea type. The harvested leaves are dried and put through full oxidation, resulting in deep flavor, scent and color!
